i just caught 300 again... this time on HBO. damn nice. i am not one for fighting scenes but i love historical moments that would make u feel proud to be ard to know such ppl actually existed. haha. plus i love the hot bods *grins*
anyways i went on wikipedia n searched for Spartan Army n found Leonidas. read a little abt him n the historical Battle of Thermopylae (however u pronounce that). real men actually existed but dats like in 480 BC. now? i wont say all lar.. but most? lol nowadays the ppl.. sigh... i dunno wad to say man... little bit only KENG mc.. little bit only OOC. little bit only DIE. row boat oso got tragedy. i admit i am crude. but pls... if ur not a survivor n if i hit the nail on UR head den kindly stuff ur mouth full.
but of cos.. i sympathize with ppl's losses.
we're so protected by technology but we're physically and mentally weaker than ppl who ceased to 'benefit' from them. n wad do we do? we COMPLAIN. we EXCLAIM. we COMPARE. sigh. n i think i hav a gd enuff reason y nowadays army training getting 'easier' as commented by the boys themselves.. its cos... the boys r getting weaker as life gets more comfortable. yawns. in order to avoid more deaths which will lead to more complains... the government decided to go easy on the ppl.. spoon feed us blah blah...
but most ppl are not happy.. they complain again! say we're so protected we wont know how to fend for ourselves. paradoxical. i nv get y taxi uncles like to complain abt PAP. i nv get y consumers complain abt GST n increased fares. apparently... the government saves from ur taxes so they can spend more to giv u a better life. n dats y we had a budget surplus of billions of dollars. n dats y the government can save ur puny asses and pea brains from getting drained dry by investments u so engaged in URSELVES with ur 'survivor instincts' n when shit happened u COMPLAIN that the government didnt protect u enuff. sigh.

if u still dont get it.. i am a PAP supporter! i am all for wadeva both Mr Lee(s) and Mr Goh do.
